How to deactivate a merchant

  1. Are you ready?

    In this tutorial we will learn how to deactive a merchant with several easy steps:

    • Logging into the application;
    • Choosing an appropriate merchant or merchant account;
    • Deactivating it in General Settings section.
  2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Management => Merchant Perspective.

    Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
  3. Select appropriate Merchant or Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.

    Note: To learn how to select Merchants and Merchant Accounts, use the prerequisite tutorial Managing Merchant Selection.
  4. Click   Detailsbutton in the top section of the screen.
  5. Choose   General  menu item  . The general settings of the merchant or merchant account should now be visible on the screen.
  6. Locate   Merchant  groupbox
  7. Locate   Active  checkbox and uncheck it to deactivate your merchant.

    Note: If you deactivated your merchant, all its merchant accounts and their profiles became automatically deactivated too. When you re-activate your merchant again, its merchant accounts as well as their profiles still will be deactivated. You will have to make them active manually.
  8. Congratulations, you are done!
